and it was then rebuilt in a special micro-environment,
which was
determined by a system of irrigation ditches and
streets which are bordered by the shade of 50.000
trees, which give
the city the characteristics proper of a Forest
City. 90 % of days are sunny and humidity is kept
at really low levels.

This is a park which was created 106 years ago
and which covers an over 400 acres area. It has
more than 50.000 trees
and 700 species out of which 300 are autochthon.

in the vineyard. This celebration is held the
first week of March. It is a real summon to remember
and pay homage to our forefathers and to all those
people who work so hard all the year long for
the sake of a better province.
